INJECTABLES

For those who want to avoid surgery, there are safe and proven injectable materials that have been used for years for the same purpose.

A simple, painless 10-minute treatment with botox-dysport in men and women eliminates wrinkles on the forehead, glabella and goose leg effect in the eyes for 4-6 months. The result starts to appear gradually from the 2nd to the 3rd day and is completed within the week.

Hyaluronic acid is used to eliminate wrinkles. It is mainly applied to the area around the mouth to fill the deep nasolabial folds, but also to the forehead, glabella, cheeks, cheekbones and elsewhere. The result lasts about a year.

Another injection material used is polylactic acid that activates the formation of new collagen from the body and gradually restores volume loss to cheeks, cheekbones, face contours, and so on. This results in a more youthful face, without limiting physical expressions for about two years. Treatment is done in two or three sessions at one month’s intervals.

Mesotherapy is an intradermal injection of dilute hyaluronic acid, vitamins and anti-aging agents. The maximum hydration of the dehydrated and aged skin of the face, neck, décolletage and hands and the stimulation of the fibroblasts to produce collagen is achieved. It is a recurrent treatment. How often it should be done depends on the type of skin and the type of injected material. As a result we have a reduction of thin wrinkles, tightening and shine. It does not limit ordinary day-to-day activities.

In autologous mesotherapy (PRP), platelet-rich plasma, obtained from the patient’s own blood after centrifugation, is used instead of a ready-made commercial formulation. Platelets contain growth factors, which, after proper activation, with mesotherapy techniques, enter the skin, stimulate fibroblasts, produce collagen and all the restorative mechanisms of the body, contributing to the renewal of the skin.

Finally, PRP enhances hair growth when used on the scalp.

Natural Collagen Type I Stimulators (Ellanse, Radiesse), are ideal for face and hands

They consist of a soft interstitial substance as a water-based gel, in which microspheres are suspended (hydroxyapatite in Radiesse, polycaprolactone in Ellanse).

The transfer gel gives immediate volume where needed and enhances the outline of the face. It is absorbed over time, but the contained microspheres continue to stimulate the production of natural type I collagen and improve the elasticity and quality of the superficial skin.

The result of the treatment is natural and distinctive and lasts about two years or more for some forms of Ellanse.
